I have been working with IndiGo since 2006. I joined IndiGo because it was the first airline to start its operations with the fleet of 100 brand new Airbus. IndiGo has groomed me to face today’s competitive world with a smile. IndiGo has made me confident and a mature person to understand the problem and provide spontaneous solution. My job is to create best inflight practices, make convenient and efficient procedures for Crew members. I also work with Human resources for the growth and development programs for our crew members. At IndiGo I feel at home as I know there are people who are always there to support and guide me. IndiGo is transparent, credible and a dynamic organization with colleagues who are extremely motivated and energetic.I am made in IndiGo.
Nine years ago, an Airlines came into the news with a confirmed booking of a 100 Airbus 320s. To be part of such a venture that was starting from scratch was challenging and exciting for me. The decision to join IndiGo then was worth the gamble.
Currently, I work as a Senior Maintenance Manager and I am in-charge for Line maintenance activities for the Northern region. My job is to ensure that we maintain the best technical dispatch reliability. It also includes retrieving aircrafts that have been grounded due technical defects. I am part of the team that ensures passengers fly in a safe plane!
At a young age, I have evolved as a leader in a number of projects that people only dream of in their entire life time. Every employee has the dedicated focus to achieve one goal- On time, smooth performance and low costs. IndiGo understands its employees and enables employees to live their dreams.
IndiGo comprises of a great team of people in the leadership team, who keep-up the promises made by them. IndiGo always had long term plans and a vision to achieve the its targets. I felt that I would fit nicely in a highly professional organisation like "IndiGo" which recognises hard work and provides opportunity for growth. I joined IndiGo as a senior first officer with a promise to upgrade as Captain (subject to my performance). Presently, I work as a Fleet Supervisor (line operations) for Mumbai base. Additionally, I also get to teach as a Check Pilot. IndiGo has a great work culture, great set of colleagues and leaders to look forward to, excellent work environment and best in best my office that lies up above at 39000 feet; the Cockpit. I am glad to be a part of the big family "IndiGo".
